In the series #Contemplation_contains_collagen I explore videos of make-up tutorials whose titlessuggest that we should know the beauty “secrets” of popular stars such as Madonna, Kim Kardashian, Kate Middleton… By breaking them down frame by frame, pious, ecstatic figures are revealed, evoking scenes from religious iconography.
